Tatvam students participated in the Sewa Dancing Stars competition and won in every category they participated in. Sewa International is a non profit organization specializing in disaster relief and rehabilitation. Their development programs focus on family services, child, tribal and refugee welfare, women empowerment, health, and education. The Sewa Dancing Stars dance competition this year, benefits educational programs supporting refugee and immigrant populations living in Southwest Houston.
The school won the grand prize as overall winners in the classical dance category. They also won 1st place in the category Age 13 - 17 and third place in the category 9 - 12. This is a great achievement for the school as it continues to win the competition for consecutive years.
